For the past few years, we've done a lot of growing! We went from a simple podcast reviewing indie video games named GameHuntReviews, to expanding and switching our name to GameHuntGuild as we grew our community. Finally, we're here as Antler and this entire time we've been hosting and participating in various charity events raising money for a multitude of great causes.
Tallying up the total money raised by us along with fellow steamers and content creators, we've managed to raise over $71,000.00+ for Charity together! We still can't believe it and we're so happy to have had the opportunity to raise money for those in need! Thank you to everyone that participated in these events in any way possible! SOMNI was our first big game release as Antler and it was a large project, especially for us as a team of three at the time with relatively no prior game development knowledge. While this led to a rough original launch we were able to grow quickly by analyzing and squashing bugs right from the get-go.
Taking in community feedback and ideas, we pressed forward fixing issues and turning SOMNI into a combination of our original vision of the game, along with feedback from players as well. We had originally planned to continue SOMNI's development through 2023, but a change in membership occurred as one of our team members was removed from the company. With only two members we decided it best to leave SOMNI in it's current state and possibly return it to development in the future. SOMNI has come a long way from launch and it's very fun and challenging to play! In it's current state users have been delivering great feedback and have been enjoying a scary challenge. We have currently moved on to new projects and while returning to SOMNI is not out of the question, it's unlikely to happen until we release a few new completed titles TBA. We learned an extraordinary amount from SOMNI's development and we'll be applying all of this knowledge to our future releases as well!
